Hünter is a Seattle-based artist who specializes in leftfield electronic music, tapping heavily into subgenres like UK Bass, IDM, ambient, and broken-beat techno. He was raised on a sailboat in industrial Ballard and spent much of his weekends as a child on the outskirts of Vancouver, BC. This upbringing greatly inspired his style of music, as he intertwines atmospheric, emotional, and warm sounds with harsher rhythms and beat structures. While his DJ history dates over 10 years, as of late he is a resident of Routine Seattle and he also hosts the radio show ‘Wërda’ on Bristol's online radio platform NOODS. In addition to his busy DJ schedule, Hünter released the full-length album Cypress back in October on the fledgling Seattle-based label Ommaya Records.
