Although born in London, raised in Maryland and now based out of Brooklyn, Bad Colours (Ibe Soliman) almost feels local at this point. Starting with Jarv Dee’s appearance on “Feelin’ Like” off his cooly assured 2021 debut LP Pink, Bad Colours and Jarv linked up months later on the BLAKHOUSE EP, a stellar merging of the former’s hip house beats and the latter’s lyrical prowess and presence on the mic. Furthering the Seattle connection are standout appearances from Stas THEE Boss and Shabazz Palaces on the tracks “Black Skin” and “Clouds.”
On Always With U, Bad Colours’ sophomore effort from November of 2022, Jarv Dee again guests and is joined by a host of additional collaborators both on the mic and with live instrumentation accompanying every track. With a fuller sound that touches on hip hop, house, R&B and jazz, Always With U is a vibe anywhere you rest your head.

Cakes Da Killa continues to zig when others zag, with dynamic results for the club, the afters and the day after the day.
Baauer (IRL the now Brooklyn-based moniker of Harry Rodrigues) never stopped producing infectious, mood-elevating cuts of mutant beats, trap ’n’ electronica.
