Midnight In A Perfect World: Hudson Mohawke

Glasgow-born electronic producer Hudson Mohawke is one of the most inventive, influential, and consistently thrilling producers of the 21st century. Emerging in the late 2000s as one of the co-founders of the LuckyMe collective, his game-changing 2009 debut album Butter put his futuristic vision on full display, a mesmerizing blend of American hip-hop and UK electronic styles with an exuberant pop streak that wasn't afraid of diving into mysterious, introspective, and unpredictable territory. His collaborative project TNGHT alongside Canadian electronic producer Lunice helped propel trap music into the mainstream in the early 2010s, and he's been a consistently in-demand producer, remixer, and collaborator, working with a wide-range of artists including Kanye West, ANOHNI, Björk, Jamie Lidell, Four Tet, and countless others. His highly-anticipated third full-length studio album Cry Sugar arrived August 12th on his longtime label Warp Records.
