Ging is the newly adopted alias of revered musician and producer Adam King Feeney. Formerly known over the past decade as "Frank Dukes," he’s collaborated closely with some of the biggest names in hip-hop, pop, and R&B as a producer, curator, and trusted helper. He’s also the mastermind behind the innovative Kingsway Music Library – a collection of his own original productions that have provided the defining samples behind some of the most iconic beats of the 2010s. Adam unveiled his final release under his old alias in November 2021 with The Way Of Ging, a symbolic severance that coincided with the dissolution of a 10-year relationship with his wife and mother of his children. Now stepping into the spotlight as Ging, the artist fka Frank Dukes is creating music strictly for himself for the first time. His early 2022 singles “Can You See Me” and “Dear Boy” are the first signs of his forthcoming debut full-length album, both tracks showcasing an intimate, fuzzy, and magnetic pop sound full of wide-eyed emotion and raw beauty.
Sent over with the three words “Only In Dreams,” Ging's exclusive guest DJ mix offers an insightful glimpse into his wide-ranging influences as he seamlessly jumps between alternative rock, psych-pop, hip-hop, avant-pop, cosmic soul, and more.
