Midnight In A Perfect World: DJ Julia

DJ Julia aka Julia PlanetDisco is a Seattle-based DJ and event producer that's been active in the electronic dance community for over two decades. She got her start in the mid-1990s throwing parties in the deserts of New Mexico before relocating to Seattle in 1999 and quickly immersing herself in the local club culture. Her longtime love of electronic music has led to a deep and diverse record collection, from spinning drum & bass and Electroclash in the early 2000s, to her current passion for techno, electro, house, and bass music. In addition to DJ'ing at clubs around town, she's a co-founder of Kremfest and currently serves as a Nightclub Consultant & Event Producer at Seattle's Kremwerk and Timbre Room Complex. Her exclusive guest DJ mix for Midnight in a Perfect World takes the listener on a journey through upfront and underground techno, tech-house, and house rhythms with nods to the gritty Electroclash aesthetic of years past.
