Another day, another Father John Misty news item! Last year, the man known as Josh Tillman stopped by Third Man Records to perform a solo acoustic show which was recorded direct-to-acetate via a 1955 Scully Lathe. Today, Father John Misty: Live at Third Man Records has been officially announced and set for release on Sept. 28. Third Man also shared Tillman's performance of “So I’m Growing Old on Magic Mountain,” off the album. Father John Misty previously shared video of “Chateau Lobby #4 (In C for Two Virgins).” The tracklist sees him take on songs from his entire discography up through Pure Comedy.
