Cigarettes After Sex is the project of Greg Gonzalez, a native of El Paso, Texas who's currently based in Brooklyn. He quietly unveiled a 4-song debut EP in 2012, and although it didn't garner much attention upon its release, the EP's atmospheric and slow-burning music slowly but steadily started attracting fans from all across the world. The somewhat unexpected success soon led to overseas tours and a critically-acclaimed self-titled debut album, which was released last year on Partisan Records, and the band stopped by KEXP for an in-studio performance last year on September 8th, which you can view on KEXP's YouTube channel.
