Hatchie is the alias of Australian musician Harriette Pilbeam. Based in the city of Brisbane, she's quickly emerged as one of the most exciting new artists of 2018 thanks to Sugar & Spice, her debut EP that was released in late May on Double Double Whammy Records in the U.S. and on revered Aussie label Heavenly Records in her home country. The EP's 5 songs showcase her confident blend of nostalgic shoegaze and fuzzy dream-pop, and has quickly become a KEXP favorite.
