At the end of the summer, California institution Oh Sees released their twenty first (!!) studio album Smote Reverser. Today, they’ve shared an animated video for album track “Enrique El Cobrador.” The psychedlic cartoon video was created by Alexis Giroux and Massimo Colarusso and takes place in alien terrain where a violent battle transpires. The video follows recent clips for Smote Reverser songs “Overthrown,” “Abysmal Urn,” and “Anthemic Aggressor.”
Smote Reverser is the second album under the moniker Oh Sees (they’ve previously gone by Thee Oh Sees, OCS, The Oh Sees, and The Ohsees) following 2017’s Orc. Below, watch the video for “Enrique El Cobrador” and their 2016 KEXP in-studio performance.
