St. Vincent made her glorious return with the single "New York" earlier this year and today it's received the video treatment from Alex Da Corte. The colorful and fashionable video features Clark and a slew of models in a variety of cartoonish settings. Da Corte said of the video, “I think Annie’s New York is the New York of my dreams -- one that is blurry and fractured, dreamy and flat. It is the Toontown to my Hollywood. It is beautiful but slightly out of reach.” We still don't know many details about her forthcoming follow-up to 2014's self-titled LP except that it's “all about sex and drugs and sadness.” [ Pitchfork ]

Father John Misty has shared a remixed version of "Things It Would Have Been Helpful To Know Before The Revolution" from this year's excellent Pure Comedy. Reworked by British drone producer The Haxan Cloak, the song takes on a more dark and ominous tone, especially when juxtaposed with the stock footage video by Matthew Daniel Siskin. Josh Tillman will stop by Late Night with Seth Meyers on September 12 for an interview and a performance of "Things It Would Have Been Helpful To Know Before The Revolution." UK electronic duo Mount Kimbie are gearing up to release a new album, Love What Survives, next week. So far, all the singles we've heard have had a major feature -- James Blake on "We Go Home Together," King Krule on "Blue Train Lines," and Micachu for "Marilyn" -- and today they've shared the first single sans feature called "Delta." It's a frenetic and disheveled madness of a song and arrives with a video directed by Frank Lebon of a bank heist gone wrong. [ Stereogum ]

Tomorrow LCD Soundsystem are releasing their highly-anticipated new album American Dream via Columbia Records. Last night James Murphy & Co. shared a non-album track ahead of the release called "pulse (v.1)." The 14-minute track is a completely instrumental syncopated electronic jam that's a pretty stark difference from the singles that have been shared off of American Dream. [ SPIN ]

French-Cuban twin-sister duo Ibeyi have announced their follow-up to 2015's self-titled debut album. Entitled Ash, it will be released September 29 via XL. They've also shared the album's first single, "Deathless," featuring jazz phenom Kamasi Washington and its corresponding video from Ed Morris showing small women crawling out of the dress another, bigger woman. Lisa Kaindé says the song was inspired by her wrongful arrest by French police when she was sixteen. "I was writing “Deathless” as an anthem for everybody. For every minority. For everybody that feels that they are nothing, that feels small, that feels not cared about and I want them to listen to our song and for three minutes feel large, powerful, deathless. I have a huge amount of respect for people who fought for, what I think, are my rights today and if we all sing together 'we are deathless,' they will be living through us into a better world." STG is bringing Ibeyi to the Neptune on Tuesday, November 14. [ The Fader ]
