On any given day, The Junction in West Seattle is home to some of the most vibrant sights and scenes in the city: the mom and pop shops, Easy Street Records, and delicious local food. During the 35th annual West Seattle Summer Fest, all of this gets heightened to another level by throwing in live music right into the streets, for free. Summer Fest returns this weekend Friday, July 14th through Sunday, July 16th, boasting one of their most exciting and varied lineups yet.

Over the three days of Summer Fest, you'll get a chance to sample some of the city's best talents across genres. From the country styling of Brent Amaker and the Rodeo to the tenacious noise rock of Charms, plus the spacey hip-hop of Porter Ray and SassyBlack, you'll experience the full spectrum of the Seattle sound. As an all ages event, it's a great chance to bring your kids and expose them to local arts. Enjoy the sun, bring the kids, and take in everything West Seattle and Seattle music has to offer.
