It was another flawless Friday evening at last week's Concerts at the Mural event. The only thing brighter than the August sun was Seattle boys Bread & Butter, who delivered a performance of pure power pop joy. Youngsters Naked Giants defied everyone's expectations with an adrenaline-fueled performance that had concert go-ers headbanging. When the band blows up, you can brag that you were there for one of their earlier performances. And, good grief, what can be said about headliners Caveman? Although keyboardist Sam Hopkins stayed home in Brooklyn due to illness, they pre-recorded his parts, and it sounded seamless, allowing frontman Matt Iwanusa to dance along to their hit "In the City." The band also surprised us all with a dead-perfect rendition of the Stone Roses "I Wanna Be Adored." Caveman, you and all the bands that night are absolutely adored. Check out photos from the evening below. If you missed out, don't worry, there's still two more Concerts at the Mural you can attend, including this Friday's bill with The Mynabirds, Radiation City, and Crater.
