Thanks to everyone who came out last week for our reading and signing of Trouble Boys: the True Story of The Replacements! We will thrilled to be joined by author Bob Mehr, and former Replacements manager and co-founder of Twin/Tone Records, Peter Jesperson. After Mehr shared the story of how the band shaved their eyebrows in Seattle (FACT!), Sean Nelson led an informative Q&A. Original Replacements memorabilia was on display, and there was even a replica of the "Bastards of Young" music video in the corner. Attendees had the chance to win an original Let It Be painting by acclaimed artist Steve Keene, and were later treated to covers of 'Mats favorites by STAG, Prom Queen, Ian Moore, Ethan Cossette (Car Seat Headrest), and the KEXP house band (yes, you missed out on KEXP DJ Kevin Cole on guitar). Last Friday, the 2016 Concerts at the Mural series kicked off under a cloudless blue sky.
