Already in 2016, you’ve heard icons including David Bowie, the Clash, and Johnny Cash honored on KEXP. Earlier this week, Funky Drummer Day shined the spotlight on the musicians responsible for some of history’s greatest breaks and beats.

Music lovers like you who power commercial-free KEXP are just as vital to the sound of “music that matters” as these artists. You play an essential part in every special program, free podcast, and in-studio performance—and we’re incredibly grateful.

KEXP volunteer Van Wolfe assists Cheryl Waters every week on The Midday Show and organizes the annual VanFest benefit in Maple Valley. Van's passion and enthusiasm inspire us, and we're proud to have his support.
