Moving is never fun — it's apparently #3 on the list of life's biggest stressors, behind death and divorce. But KEXP's new dance series will make you move to help us move — to Seattle Center, that is!
Presenting Re-Locate at Re-Bar, a monthly dance party held on the first Friday of every month at the legendary Seattle venue. KEXP DJs will be spinning songs from across all genres that will make you dance, and might even introduce you to your new favorite Friday night anthem. And all proceeds go to help build KEXP's New Home. The series kicks off tonight, Friday, May 1st, with an incredible line-up of Riz, Kid Hops and DJ Rhythma. "I am thrilled to participate in the inaugural installment of Re-Locate!" says DJ Kid Hops. "It's always fun to bring what we do on the KEXP airwaves to a club setting, and it's always wonderful to meet KEXP listeners in person! And, I get to spend the night mixing tunes alongside friends Riz & Rhythma — I can't wait!"
Tickets for this 21+ event are on sale online and at the door. Doors are at 10:30 PM. Re-Bar Seattle is located at 1114 Howell Street.
