In Boise, there's a club you want to belong to. They meet in the thawing Spring days of March, huddled in nightclubs, living rooms, pop-up venues, outdoor stages, and anywhere downtown where there are great bands to be heard. It's a club that loves music and the all of the arts, celebrates the Pacific Northwest homegrown passion and gathers each year for Treefort Music Fest. Now in its fifth year, the festival returns to Boise on March 23rd through 27th, and they've just announced the first round of 2016 performers, including many favorites of KEXP listeners and DJ's, from the Northwest and the rest of the world, like Charles Bradley & His Extraordinaires, Thee Oh Sees, Aesop Rock with Rob Sonic, Youth Lagoon, Chelsea Wolfe, Alex G,and San Fermin, Quilt, White Denim, Hinds, Radiation City, Vaadat Charigim, So Pitted, Bryan John Appleby, Go!Zilla - too many others to list... and that's just the first round. Find out how you can join this club and by tickets to Treefort here. And then keep your eyes open for more updates and more artists to fill the 2016 roster here.
