With their latest album, Shiver & Shake, local trio My Goodness shrug off earlier comparisons to the White Stripes and The Black Keys with their dynamic new songs. During their recent in-studio performance at KEXP, frontman Joel Schneider explained to DJ Cheryl Waters that they were really able to take their time on the new release, recording at London Bridge Studios in Shoreline, adding bass and keyboards to their trademark stripped-down sound, and letting the songs flourish under their additional attention.
