Tune in this Saturday, May 31st for a special all-electronic edition of Audioasis. Hosted by DJ Alex and co-produced with the help and guidance of Audioasis host DJ Sharlese, the show will feature live performances from Bellingham-based electronic musician Manatee Commune at 6:30 PM and Seattle-based electronic producer Mathew Anderson at 8:00 PM.
Manatee Commune – the alias of producer and multi-instumentalist Grant Eadie – has quickly become a strong presence in the local electronic music community, recently releasing his debut album Brush, a beautiful showcase of his blissful, shimmery, sun-kissed beats.
Mathew Anderson is a veteran Seattle DJ/producer, an avid competitive cyclist, and the creator behind the lush Messenger release on local electronic music label KRecordings, a euphoric display of his subdued and atmospheric tech-house rhythms that’s arguably his strongest work to date.
In addition to these two exclusive live performances, DJ Alex will be sharing the best of Pacific Northwest electronic music throughout the show, spotlighting both established artists and budding newcomers crafting sounds from all over the electronic music spectrum. Tune in to discover the vibrant and fertile talent pool of electronic musicians that currently call the Pacific Northwest their home.
